KUBA MALE

This rug is an ethnic replication of a ceremonial Kuba cloth worn by the male tribe members. The ceremonial cloths were originally made of woven grass to resemble a rough flax fiber. The low loop pile used in tufting this rug represents the original stiff texture of the original antique pieces.
